Great work you are doing there!
I just realized that you are located a little more than an hr away from me. I was just down your way two weekends ago. Near Falls City, NE.
If you ever need a hand with anything, or some parts, let me know. Im just in council Bluffs

its just called enamel itll be at any autoparts store or homedepot, maybe even walmart. and you could get away with 33s on stock gear ratio it will just be slow, or else you could stick with 31s and probably not even notice, since it will be your dd i would recommend some bfg allterrains (i have 33x9.5r15 on my 2wd 86 truck) they last a long time with tought sidewalls and will be plenty of tread for light wheeling. the only thing on the ubolt flip kit you might have to change (dont think you will after looking at pics of your axle) is the spring perches but i think you will be fine. you can order those from trailgear or lowrange offroad or allpro or probably any offroad shop in your area can get them for you.

Is it going to mess up where the shocks hook up to the spring plates On the rear axles bc in the picture it doesn't look like the bolt is even there to hook up the shocks.

And thanks for the quick reply.

you would mount them just inside of the ubolt on the axle and you can get those from trail gear or lowrange off road too. changing the gearing shouldnt be too difficult, just watch youtube videos as guides

An update
The build has been going very slow lately, but now I have a update on what I have been doing.
First off we started on the front axle after we had finished the rear axle. We took off the free wheeling hub witch I cleaned and painted.

Then we took off the disc brake and the knuckle. Their was a lot of grease but we finally got it cleaned and painted and we got a front axle rebuild kit from Marlin Crawler on the way.

Also we cleaned the driveshaft and got that painted.

That is how the axle is right now plan on getting it painted sometime soon.

That is were we stopped. Will hopefully have a update tomorrow.

Another update
Got a little more done today. Got the other knuckle painted and ready to go just waitin on the rebuild kit.
Also have a question. What do you guys recommend I coat the underbody in before I get the frame under the body.

x2 ^^^ Some type of rust encapsulator and then undercoating. I have also used eastwood industries encapsulators and chassis black paint with good luck on my frames.
Axle is looking great. Getting me motivated to rebuild mine.

looking real nice. Thanks for all the pictures, i removed the interior in my pickup and bed lined it but was hesitant about doing my 4runner. your build has motivated my decision to get started.

Thanks glad I could help to get you motivated.

Havn't updated in a while but we have started to put the front axle together. I don't have any pictures yet but I will get some soon. It has been taking more time then I thought to get it all together.

An update
Got the front axle rebuilt and put back together. Also have got the full ome suspension kit ready to go, but first we are going to undercoat everything with some Eastwood rubberized undercoating. Another thing is we have the frame back from powder coating and plan to put a fluid film inside of it. That is as far as we got.
