I tried that too. I might pick up a new bulb base to see if that helps..I saw some at O'reilly's.
If not I just might have to dig out my DDM...it will be after Christmas though...

If I do a dove nose it will be kind of subtle like MT-Toy on Pirate, maybe 3" or so per side:

I would need to come up with some kind of detachable fender flare for coverage so I could still drive it on the street..

Tried to go snow wheeling on Sunday and smoked my clutch so truck is down for a few weeks.. guess I can't complain since it is the original since I bought the truck 6 years ago and is on it's 3 rd trans mission

Rob, please tell me that you haven't been recycling the same original clutch each time you swap trannies! LOL That's pretty incredible that it lasted that long. The factory clutch in mine was still grabbing strong at 132,000 miles while I had to pull my transmission to replace my rear main seal. I figured that since I had the tranny out that I would swamp the clutch real quick. Go figure that I would rebuild the motor a couple thousand miles later... Actually, if you want to keep your tradition going, I'll donate my original clutch to you! LOL

was screwing around in the garage and found a lock on the floor..thought what the heck...would it fit around the shifter and the front t/c lever...

it fits perfectly..when i finally go to pull the transfer cases and transmission to replace the clutch in the near future I will weld half a chain link to the shift lever. Not perfect but will slow someone down in addition to the other stuff I use..

had trouble getting my chains to fit on the snow run a couple of weeks ago when I blew out my clutch, tried for an hour last week to get them on..even with the tire off the truck there was no way they would fit.
...traded an extra 35" spare tire and rim I had for a set of real chains.. not as cool or effective as V-bar chains..but these will fit

I hear ya!! I keep looking at the videos on YouTube for the lights but you just can't tell how they would be without driving with them? It's just like hid's in a year are they gonna be 100 each or less?? I don't know man I really want them bad and I'm just being a wuss really

It's the simplicity and the minimal power to run that keeps me thinking about them.

Well tax return time I will probably order them I will let you know if I do get them if they are worth the loot and how they perform
