it is a jeep console i found on ebay. it is 8.75" long, and about 24" long, a little longer than I would have liked but it does the job

Thanks..the LED's are great as they hardly put any strain on stock alternator

thanks, I am running 4" T-G's upfront and 5" T-G's in the rear. If the T-G's aren't ragged out, $100 is a great deal..shipping on springs can be deal breakers.
I am very happy with their performance.

deaver does make a great spring, several guys use them. I had considered a set of deaver's for my old '05 Tacoma.

How many leaves are in the spring pack?

With it getting darker earlier i remembered that my dash lights really sucked..only one or two were working. I had ordered some LED's..but ordered the wrong base...
They still are pretty anemic but I can at least see my dash now..thanks to TrekkerPaul for coming up with some bulb holders and bulbs on really short notice

edit: found the correct LED 194's on SuperBrightLEDs.com:
http://www.superbrightleds.com/morei...FYYWMgod5FkAZA

note to self or other first gen truck owners..you need 13 of them

I need something brighter for signals too.. Mine are trailer marker lights. The way they're stuffed behind the bumper tubing and being as dim as they are, they're virtually worthless.

Yours look like they'll get the job done however!

Hey are those the little hid's that ruff stuff have been advertising?? If so how is the output? Forgive me if its in your build thread. Just wondering was thinking about a set but haven't decided to pull the trigger yet.

Oh my bad, signals look fine not bulky at all and in a good protected spot

The HID's are actually some off ebay. They are 50W, most of them are 35w..seems like a lot of them are pretty generic to look like what rough stuff sells (and mine).
Out put is pretty good, this pic is just the HID's, no headlights
