Forgive me YotaTech, for I have sinned.....

So as some of you know, I have been in the market for a second 4x4. My wife has been wanting to get one for a while, one big enough for the family. We decided to look for a good 4runner or Cherokee (please don't shoot) to fit her needs. We have been shopping around for about the last year, and discovered real quick that good deals on 4x4's are getting harder to find in these parts. Most of what we found was just tore up junk. We needed something with enough power to tow the popup, need cold air since we take our kids, and much more. Well, two weeks ago we found a deal we couldn't pass up. We found a 1990 Cherokee, 4in lift, 9,000lb winch, 31" Pro Comp a/t's, 150,000 miles, cold air, auto, all power, and family owned since the day she was new. The man we bought it from had it special ordered. It was used for family Colorado vacations. They decided to sell it to buy their son a new car, since he was going away to collage. After the first trip out we decided to put some 33's on and add a locker. Now it's riding on 33" Nankang Mudstars and has a Spartan Locker out back. Fear not, my Yota isn't going anywhere! she is in the garage getting some upgrades now and will be back on the trails by next week. by the way, Randy's Ring and Pinion is a great outfit, bought lockers, gears and shafts from them 2 weeks ago.

Yea bobby, I've been called out around here for it lol. But then again, I couldn't pass it up for the price. I'm not fearin the unibody, there are 3 guys in our group that have been wheeling XJ's with us for the past 10 years with no prob's other than the Dana 35's snapping shafts. Mine has a Dana 44, another reason I couldn't pass it up

Yup, hope you have sliders on that thing 'cause the first time you crunch it the doors won't shut!

Wab, thats a good sticker, but do remember it's for the wife. I still want one of those for my truck

Gary rhey did at first in the rear. The rear add a leafs were sagging so I threw in some Pro Comp springs. They do have a frame rail to mount to, it's just attached to the body. This one has had the rails reinforced with plate steel.

Blue, I'm building a set as soon as I finish the ones I'm making for a 4runner that just did the same thing last week.

Vital, I'm not worried about the milage. The guys that run XJ's have more miles than me and they run great. One has 240,000 and runs great, no stumbles, knocks, just a bit of vt noise
