good offroad tires for stock 97 4runner

I recently purchased a 97 4runner and want to put some deep tread offroad tires on it. There is currently no lift on it. What is a good quality tire, and the maximum size tire i can put on it?

What size wheels do you have???

Just what is the majority of your driving going to be??

Will these tires just be on extra wheels to be put on as the off road adventures start and then be removed??

Right now i have stock wheels on it. I plan on leaving the offroad tires on it considering im not going to be doing much long distance driving.

Thanks, that's really what i was looking for. The snow issue probably wont be much of an issue here is South Carolina. The tires have the look I really wanted to achieve.

Not sure which 'these tires' you mean, but either 265/70r16
or if you don't mind some frame rub on sharper turns 265/75r16.

That's assuming you have 16", you haven't said.

If you go too wide/ too tall you have to deal with things like upper a-arm, frame, valance and pinch weld.
