1uz swap in the works.

! okay very usefull tip for anyone who is doing this swap.. i have a v6 cluster with tach, and was under the impression that i needed a 4clnder tach.. well i was correct.. BUT
i also noticed a little adjustment knob on my v6 tach(under the tack on the circut board)
this adjusts the signal to the tach, after testing it, pulling it out re-adjusting and testing again i was able to get the tach within 250rpms of accuracy(going off assumed idle and rev limit) my idle may be spot on? i need to double check it with a timing light but the rev limit is just under 6500rpms, from the factory its 6750..(go v8!) for me this margin is well enough for me driving it around and whatever else i need it for, its not a drag car so why should it matter if the rpms are off a few hundred? what do you guys think?

When I compared the dial adjuster between a 4cyl and a v6 tach cluster one of them was at about the 10 o'clock position and the other was at about the 2 o'clock position. I forgot now which was which.

you can get the cad file to take to a machine shop for 25 bucks online, ebay or v-eight.com, you can buy the the plate but its around 3-400 bucks witch is kinda steep..
i would buy the drawings and have a machine shop cut it out for you and i bet you would be around 200. you WILL have to modify your 1uz bell to clear the bolts fore the plate, and make a mount for your clutch fork.
the is PMW out of NZ they have a plate, flywheel, and many other items, but from my experiance they have good customer service.
