clutch is fine no signs of slipping or chatter.. power is nice, its just all around more torque and power that you can feel just moving from a stop. or cruisin on the freeway at 75..

If you're starting with a 4 cylinder you will need to come up with a v6 truck power steering lines. You will also need a v6 fuel filter, mount and fuel lines since the 4cylinder truck locates them in a spot that won't work with the 1uz. hmm. can't think of anything else right now.

what is different about the 4cylinder fuel lines? you will need a v6 fuel pump i think? you running the 4 cylinder one(FP) toyminator? you realy only need the feed line, make sure you get one without abs, you can get some rubber hose from any auto parts store for the return i used some 400psi stuff designed for ps/trany cooler.
are you going 5spd or auto?

first step would be to pull the engine out of your ls, DO NOT!!!!!!! cut any wires, hoses or anything for that matter... take your time, and i found it pretty easy to pull the engine/trans as one.

prep the engine, clean it off and make it look pretty get some wiring diagrams for your car and runner (car year is?)

if you drive your runner alot then wait till you have all your parts before you dig into the runner..

start a build thread and ask these questions in there so you don't have to dig into other threads to find the answers to your questions

The 4cyl has a power steerting fluid cooler line that routes out through the core support and it also has a remote resevoir. The high pressure line isn't routed correctly either. The v6 ones bolt right up.

I am currently using the 4 cyl fuel pump and it runs fine but I haven't done any full throttle launches yet to see if it starves for fuel. I plan on getting a Walbro at some pont.

Oh sorry. The 4cyl has its fuel filter right up by the engine under the intake plenum. Kind of close to the starter on the 22re. The v6 one is located on the frame rail right by where the crossmember bolts to the frame. I suppose the actual filter would work if you bought the proper mount to put it on the frame and the proper v6 fuel lines from the tank.

hey man why dont you just use one of your sc fuel pumps .... that way you can let us know what all it takes to mount one . im thinking the pump alone will swap right over , but am unsure.

Well It would take some modification of the cradle to make it fit. Anyway, I sold the low mileage one I had. The other SC has 225k on it so I really don't want to do all the work to modify it to fit a pump with that many miles on it.

SC pump goes in just fine. I had to switch over to an SC pump because I was running way too lean on the factory pump with the supercharger, and now it runs much better. I still need more fuel so I will probably stick in a walboro.
