Brice, Bryce, it's all the same. Quit being so technical. I'm trying to sell my 4Runner. I just can't justify spending money on it while I'm paying for school. Once I'm in nursing school, I won't be able to afford 2 trucks anyway. I'll probably barely be able to afford 1 HAHA! I suck at wiring and I hate it, so that's what I'd need you for.

Well, the I only owe $4600 on my Tacoma, and if I sell the 4Runner for $3000 like I think I should be able to, then I'll just about have my Tacoma paid off. Plus, it'll be more reliable over the next 2 years when I have to drive all over the state for school activities. Trust me, as soon as I have my student loans paid off, I will be back on the hunt for another classic Yota!

Will do, b/c I have a hard time finding decent yota's around Jackson. It took me forever to find my 4Runner. Now I have to let it go . Oh well, it's just a vehicle.

hey you guys know theres a pm system right??? ha anyway...
from what i have read the uz will get 5-10 mpg better than the 3vz..
anything is better than an engine that gets 10mpg in the city and only put down
150hp to the flywheel...
the 3rzfe is the 2.7? i forget...

ok i now have a very fu**ed up problem.

toyminator - did you have any problems putting the coupler on your output shaft of your transmission?

I was having issues gettin it to slide on, but i finally hammered it on. i know you're not suppose to do that, but the splines were lined up and didn't hurt anything that i know of. I finally get the coupler on and go to test fit the transfer case. I go to pull the tranny closer to me and the output shaft pulls out of the tranny. I start cussing like no other and try to put the shaft back in, but it won't go.

Can anyone please direct me on what to do? I really don't wanna tear apart a tranny and don't have the money to buy another.

Is the output shaft bolted in or should it have slid out that like?

Did i do anything wrong installing the coupler? i did have to use a sledge to get it to slide on. and yes i did make sure the splines all lined up.

sorry no pics. i was too pissed to take any. i kept cussing for about an hour and i think our neighbors think i'm nuts now. they live like 100 yards away too.

yea I'm running the A340E out of the lexus. I'm pretty sure if i kept pulling that it would come out. I really dont wanna take the tranny apart. Thats something I'm really scared to do. If i have to then i guess i'll take it apart.
