Fp+ wire. Where does this hook up?

Thanks for your help in advance!!

Almost done with a 3.4 swap, thanks to a lot of research on this website!!

Problems now are;

I can fire up and run, but I have to put a jumper wire on the fp+ wire (3.0 chasis harness side)

I know that there is supposed to be a timed power circuit to this wire, that cycles with key on. I have studied and have all the relevant ewd and wiring diagrams, and cannot figure out how this is supposed to be hooked up.

For reference this is a 95 tr4 with a manual 3.0. Donor rig is 97 tacoma 3.4 manual. No cruise control no a/c.

If this wire isn't jumped, it will fire up (fuel pump cycles with starter) and then dies after a few seconds.

If this already been covered, I apologize! My eyes are falling out of my face researching!!!

Thanks everyone! This forum is priceless!!!!

Fp goes to the fuel pump relay (COR) which stands for circuit opening relay.

You can search around here for wiring the stock 3.0 COR, or use the 3.4 one if you have it. Alternatively, you could also use a standard Bosch relay if you have neither.

Ok so after studying the COR and it's function, everything is now hooked up the way it is supposed to be. The issue now is that I am not getting ground out of the fc (green with yellow) like i am supposed to be.... Any insight here? I am sure there is and thank you very much for it!!

Houston, we have a problem.

I just probed the b-y wire off the igniter, nothing..... Nada zip. No ground no power.

This pointing to a bad igniter?

Man I hope so!

so if you check the other end which should be a-17, the wire doesn't have continuity? so take your multimeter and touch both ends of the wire. The b-y wire goes to the ecu. Were you expecting something?

You want the B-R wire to have power when the key is in the on position. That is your power wire.

Status update....

Swapped igniters, still same problem.

So....

It fires up and then shuts down.... Unless manually grounding the core relay...

Any guesses??
