Hmm. Weird. Id say just Get it in there and see what'll work in your situation. Every swap is a little different.

Straightforward enough i suppose. I need the pump first. So I'm pretty sure I got my fuel lines figured out. I took off the big line with the screw in connection off the rail, flipped it 180* and got that buttoned down. Then flipped the smaller line over so it can run back down to return. Now tell me, is the hard line that's attached to the fender where the return hooks back into? It has a yellow stripe painted on it, as does the other line I flipped. I just need to be sure.

Seriously, EVERYONE should read Elvota's swap 3-5 times, I'm pretty sure he covers just about everything in great detail:

Connect that hose in your hand:

Boom! Answers! Hahaha thanks Sac. I've been scratching my head on which is which. I suppose I flipped it right, guess well see. As for whether or not its the return I figure it oughta be, why would Toyota put a vent in that particular spot? But then again its just speculation, and I needed some clarity. I guess I'll read back through Elvotas swap AGAIN and see if I'm missing anything.

the vent line is isolated like that so it won't be confused for the return. Also the charcoal canister is located on the fire wall so why not have the vent right in front of it but not in the way of engine wire harness and not next the return so slightly less confusion.

Well crap. I suppose now I need to isolate the return. Any clues on which one that one is? And I'm using the evap box from the 3.4, do I still need the charcoal canister from the 3.0?

In pic 2, the one on your pointing finger with the silver end plugs into the air intake tube.

Pic one is the drain for your ac unit if I'm seeing it right.

Brake booster? Big line on drivers side right next to the diagnostic plug, above the header. Make sure you use the check valve.

that clears up that bit. ill look tomorrow. I worked on getting the trans in today. I have the crossmember bolted up and the trans hanging. trouble is it doesn't seem like it is wanting to line up correctly. it seems a bit off and once I finally got one of the bolts to thread it was really tight and hard to turn. I didn't proceed any further. im severely hoping that I got it lined up right and didn't ram the input shaft straight into one of the fingers on the pressure plate. god that would be so awful. any advice as far as installing a transmission anyone?

neverming. I got some help with it and got it in. another question, I had thought about running my intake into the cabin plus a filter. if that's the case, do I even need to move the battery?

I wouldn't see a reason to move the battery if your rerouting the intake
