SWAMPERS SAS baby!

[IMG][/IMG][IMG][/IMG][IMG][/IMG][IMG][/IMG][IMG][IMG][/IMG][/IMG][/IMG][/IMG][/IMG][IMG][/IMG]Well, i was first introduced to the word "SAS" a little over a year ago. Since then, ive been looking up all the builds and all the purdy yotas with the solid axle swap . [IMG][IMG][IMG][/IMG][/IMG][/IMG]

Pretty soon after i dreamed of building my own solid axle toyota. The school i went to in North Bend WA was filled with toyota trucks, i imediately fell in love them for no apparent reason (i think i was entranced with their beauty

http://s1166.photobucket.com/albums/...urrent=017.jpg

Ok, so now after a long time of looking up builds and everything. My dream has come true

Im using Trail-Gears 5" IFS Eliminator Kit with the regular 1525 Bilsteins. I only have 30" tires right now to start off with haha! Anyways, the front axle is off of an 85 pickup with welded 4.10s. The rear is open with 4.10s. I
Im renting a torch this weekend if all goes well. Saying byebye to the IFS

Well, ill be posting up more pics of the progress ill be making so i hope you all like it![IMG][/IMG]

Upload the pics to photobucket, then copy and paste the [IMG] code to your post.
Good luck on the SAS!

I sure did! Haha nothing like a bone stock P/U with welded diffs front/rear to make people think. But yea, just stay off the side slopes.

have to use the code with the " [IMG] " in it or click on the button in the message box that looks like this: and paste that same link you put in earlier.

I'll do the first one.

I would swap that welded diff to the rear, unless you have the arms of Hulk Hogan or hydraulic assist, you won't be hitting the rocks anytime soon
