broke the knuckle bolt, advice?

Well I didn't personally break them, but two of the studs that hold the steering arm on were broke on my axle when I got it...I've tried drilling them out and broke 5 bits, my EZ out, and am out of ideas...anybody know how to get these suckers out?

Removed the knuckle?

Broken inside threads or sticking up?

Pics would help.

remove it, put it in a vice, and if you can grab it with vice grips. slowly back it out. if not. you need a recovery bit.

Ahhh stupid phone! I'm in the process of rebuilding the axle b4 it goes under the truck and I'm just gonna use the stock studs, but my problem is that these things seem to be made out of some sort of super steel and they're breaking everything I throw at them. I don't own a drill press and am curious if they make bits specifically tailored to do this kind of drilling.

No access to the studs. They're broke off inside the threads and I'm pretty certain its because the bolts are siezed

Not sure what a "recovery" bit is, or where to get one...

Two hammers, a torch, liquid wrench, high speed drill bits, two homies and a 5th of vodka later - we are go for extraction!

Knuckles are cheap. You could have probably bought a used one for what you lost in damaged bit and easy outs.

Pirate will have a bunch.
