Hey Cheap-ass. I know our lifts are meant to make the axle a bit more forward. Its like that on mine too. But how come yours came out super far out like that?

You can put the axle anywhere during the SAS, he just pushed the front bracket forward with some gussets off the stock frame.

I used 3rd gen pickup rears that are 51" long and made a ruf pack and I made a custom hanger to keep the shackle tube between the body mount. turned out to be 8" over stock.

No Same way they would be mounted in the rear military wrap on the frame mount non military on the shackle side it just looks odd but no there not flipped backwards.

I did everything besides the diffs. My buddies let me use their shop, working on a lift makes everything a lot easier. After I posted those pics I realized how nice it looked stock. Thanks for looking.

My 88. The 3 inch SAS is settling in. 33's. I may need to install 1 additional leaf in the rear, each side. And or will be getting 4 inch rear springs soon. We will see. My current set up is NWOR 3 inch rear, then I added 2 flat leafs and a half inch block on each side, oh and 6 inch shackles.Name: IMG_2553_zps0c998e2a.jpg

I see that NH plate on there. Haha.

Why not just pull a leaf out of the front pack?
