Nice looking rigs, BTW!
sheared the studs on steering knuckle. it's a known weak spot on on the Toyota solid axle. proper fix is to have six-stud knuckles like he said he just ordered.

Looks good! Maybe a little body mount trimming in your future to let that shackle swing down all the way.

It actually has about another .25" before it contacts the body mount because of the taper of the mount. Trimming will happen eventually and I do need to install bumstops on the front also.

Sounds like you got it Konayota! What are you running for a front drive shaft?

Heres mine, now that its completed. 85 Front axle with a marlin rebuild kit and all the TG Armor, 48" RUF springs. Sky hanger/shackles, 30 Spline Longs, Creeper Flanges, 5th Stud, 7/8th Hemi Steering. IFS hubs ground down used with Tacoma slip on rotors. 4.10s and a locker. Ford 12" shocks and towers, TG extended brake lines. Daystar mini bumps and a square front shaft made from 2 single joint yokes. About 3" total lift over stock. 3" up travel and about 8" down. 25" to the frame

Front has more droop to go.

It's an old TG front shaft that I had laying around.

I plan on doing the IFS hub swap eventually also. Truck looks good! I miss my extra cab.

Why I need front bumpstops
