Nice to see it actually doing what it was intended to do.

to be honest with you, I don't think I ever got full flex out of it with what I was limited to in 2wd. I'm excited to stretch it's legs with 4wd hehe

sorry the pics are so big, too lazy to resize, hence the hotlinking lol
Damn it man! Those welds look horrible. Hopefully they'll stay together. Please don't tell me you bought the kit from allpro, they are such a damn rip-off it's not even funny. And the kit doesn't set the wheels farther forward, so the tires end up rubbing on the rear of the fender. Oh, and why'd you primer it???? A couple cans of satin black rustoleum would've been cheaper and would look WAY better. Oh well, ya live and learn.

Pretty pointless comments, yet while I do not sell AP products, I have quite a number of their products on my 85 from several years back, as there was no one else back in the day, and they are still in prime working order, including 5" extreme lift and the trans brake kit...and my front axle IS 2" forward of stock with the AP kit.

I can't do anything about his welding or his paint job, but the AP comments were unmerited or about any kit for that matter as the kits are only as good and competent as the installer.

it's not primer anymore. If you look at later pics, the parts were primered first, then coated with rust-oleum heavy duty black enamel, 3-5 coats depending on the area.

The welds aren't pretty, but I've had them inspected and I've been told they're perfectly strong. After wheeling the rig hard a few times I had no snapping, no cracks, nothing. Most of the bad looking welds I've gone over anyways, since I was using a MIG that just wasn't up to doing 1/2" material
