Kickass build.

How do you like the OME springs?
That's what I'll be putting on the Runner in a week or so.

Thanks man!
I absolutely love the OME springs! They have finally settled. I was kinda worried about the shackle angle but after a month they settled just enough.
On road this truck drives like a dream and off road this thing is amazing!!
I am STILL building this flatbed
Soon I will have pics of it.

Are they the Emu Dakar springs (new models)?

I'm so stoked to get mine one.

Little pissed after finding a pretty steady coolant leak, I think it's just an old cracked hose on the bottom of the radiator.

4 days and I'll be on my way to 'Bama!

I would like to ask you how do you compare the highway ride with the sas to the ifs. i am getting ready to do a sas. I am just curious to see if i can still drive my vihicle to the trails, camping, fishing and hunting spots. Thanks!

I can honestly say I like the SAS better. Much better! Granted, parts of my IFS were shot so its hard to be objective. It rides very smooth and straight. No vibration at all even at 80mph. It feel very solid and safe. I really like it. Its the best thing I have done to my rig so far.

P.S. Almost done with the flatbed! I will post up a thread on the build for anyone interested.

I really like the look of your truck! I have wanted to paint my 2dr 93 runner that color for a few years now.

With the custom front springs and stock shackles how much uptravel do you have? Do you have the 12" shocks or the 10"? Do you find the truck hitting the bump stops on the logging roads?

Sorry for all the questions, I have the TG 3" kit in the front of my v6 runner and I am not 100% happy with it.

Again truck looks great!

I have the 10" Bilsteins. I have been checking the bumpstops for any rubbing and I haven't hit them yet. I wheeled it pretty good last weekend and I never heard them hit. I think the front springs are pretty well settled in. The bed is off right now due to the back and fourth measuring of the flatbed so it is really bouncy and that is not helping the spring settling one bit or my kidneys for that matter
The only TG thing I have as far as the springs or leafs are the shackles in the rear. The Old Man Emu leafs I just put on are super stiff. It is just the way I wanted them. I drove my buddies 89 with the TG 3" set up and I didn't like the ride. I thought it was to squishy. With around 300lbs on the rear of my rig it rides like a NYC taxi cab offroad!
I don't mind the questions. Glad to help.
My hands are vibrating from all the damn grinding I did today on my flatbed.
It is taking so long because there are so many little mods on it.

THANKS ALGRANGER!
After this flat bed is on I am gonna leave it be for a while. The flat bed is draining me of energy but my welding is getting really good. There are so many welds on it.
Here is a sample of one of the welds on the flatbed. Sorry, I was so proud of this one I had to post it up! ahahhah
