Ya, no full size spare for me either - gonna rock a 31, oh well. I was supposed to pick up a 95% tread pro comp x-terrain yesterday for $50 off CL and had people come into town so I couldn't make a time to meet the guy. Probably gone now. Oh wait, I'd also need a new spare wheel...next time I guess.

I'm also in a little scramble before the trip because my popping in the front end turned out not to be loose bearings after repacking them. I still think it's the original BJs, so I ordered some which better get here tomorrow so I can pop them in and get it aligned again before the trip. Better not turn out to be the a-arm bushings, or I'm just gonna go with it and cross my fingers for now. My truck also leaks like a sieve, but at least nothing is gonna rust underneath, hah!

On a positive note, I finally ditched the nerf bars for sliders and I think I talked my buddy into coming with his stock Tacoma (e-locker w/31s) so one more rig! I think were going to leave sat morning around 630-7 from citrus heights and will meet y'all up there around 830 hopefully.

im gonna end up leaving on friday afternoon with chris out of fremont .. dont remember what route we took last year but maybe we can meet up and head on out .

my trucks not in perfect shape either ,when cold my 4runner wont idle right , Again .. i need to idle it with the gas pedal until somewhat warm and then its great .. i wont have time to mess with it but im still going alos needs new ball joints .. but they should be fine for now . im taking spares just in case though .

My work truck the 2wd pickup was leaking tons of oil .. just started to work on it yesturday and thought it was only the oil pump seal , Not its the harmonic balancer its got a .50mm groove cut into it .

looking for one now , and will be working on that today .

i ended up just getting a used 33x10.5 tire from the local tire place .. they chrged me $30 with mounting .. its not a km2 its an all terrain and it doesnt have alot of tread but whatever it will work for a spare.

I managed to get Thursday-Sunday off. So I may go up earlier than I thought, maybe friday morning. Got worried there for a little bit, my work schedule came out and I didnt have this weekend off, and my boss swore I never requested it. I had to argue with her for a bit then she just gave me 4 days off!

I have a km1 33x10.50 spare from pick n pull... its like a 8 year old tire, and it has a slow leak. but it works. just fill it up before any trip and it'll be fine.

Got the front cv axle all put back together and working again. New bolts and nuts to bolt it to the diff axle because they were destroyed and got the new boot kit installed.

Never change your oil. Last time I changed my oil this happened... Oil Change Curse.

Will we?

Where did everyone end up camping Friday night at the dam? If I remember right there wasn't much there other than a little bit of a dirt turn off where we met up at last year. I think it's national forest zone so I think we can camp most anywhere in there.

Last year it was only B4runner and I who camped friday night. We camped right on the dam, next to the port a potties. Theres no way we will fit more than 5 rigs trying to camp though.
