Shotgun is probably the most versatile weapon there is. Birdshot for close, in the home defense that won't over penetrate. Buck for med blasting and rifled slugs for that reach out and touch them kind of action. I was really surprised how accurate a rifled slug is using only the bead sight on the front of the shotgun. Plus you can always load them bird bird buck buck buck buck slug. That way you can escalate depending on the situations.

When we are done with the trail. I don't remember that well but I think we were done by about 3ish on sunday. Kinda depends when we head out sunday morning and how often we stop.

Sounds like a pretty ˟˟˟˟ty camp site. lol. I think you all slept in your trucks also right? We might need to camp in a different spot for friday night. I'll put in my yes/no quote that I am camping on friday night. I didn't really get a count on how many people are camping and if they are planning on setting up a tent. I could probably sleep in my truck but I would rather put out the tent for room. It's going to be me and my buddy and don't feel like sleeping in the front seat.

There are other areas nearby that we can all camp at. Hopefully we can all cruise down to the beach and camp there. That would be nice

I am hoping the water level is low enough, so we can drive down the boat launch and on to the beach. the beach has lot and lots of room.

I was just thinking we might want a bit more firm of a plan so people don't get scattered all around. Or have to wait at the dam dam all day as people show up.

My experience with lakes so far this year is that they are all at or over capacity. I was at Bullards bar dam by grass valley and it had 0 beach and was at the tree line. Maybe we should call and see what they say about the water level or some other camping spots. There are some developed ones but those suck.

Well I have had the rear 4.88 in for 4 months and now just pulled apart 2 front diff's over the week to make a stock 4.88 into a LSD 4.88 which arrived from NC on monday and finished installing it midnight saturday. Also I will be finishing up my front bumper sometime this week with the second coat of herculiner but my rear will have to stay the way it is till after the trip have way too much to do in the little time left which seems so far away. So Snowhite ready to go so now I need to get ready!

So it would seem that a number of us have had some serious projects to on our rigs wrenching it in with the last weekend open before the trip glad im not the only one. Also on the not only one my spare is also not right being a 30 but riding on 32's haha we seem to think alike.

I have 4x32's and a 28 spare. Might look a little funny if I get a flat but it will make it I'm sure.
