Yours is not the only one that hates hillS man. Mine has made me happy lately though. I've been getting 21mpg city sense my last fill up. OH WHAT A FEELING. LOL.

I'd love to head up Friday, but I think the wifey is going to nix that idea, haha.

Whose planning on going up *cough* Early *cough* Saturday morning and would like to Caravan?

Also, what's the deal for Saturday night dinner. I know on trips I've been on in the past we have tried to do a Potluck or something like that Saturday night. What is this groups SOP?

i might head up saturday morning but haven't decided yet - need to talk to my buddy with tacoma and see if he's actually gonna come this time then decide.

what time are we meeting up on Saturday at the Bear Res. Dam area, and what time are we expecting to leave for the trailhead? i think last year we were supposed to meet up at 9, but that didn't happen

dunno about dinner. last year we just did our own thing. for some reason i've been craving "foil packs" for the past couple days and thought i might go that route when we make camp. i'd also be down for a pot luck, doesn't matter to me.

I was just planing on doing my own thing for dinner as well. Although a pot luck sounds good. Might plan a potluck for next year. you all are welcome to plan what ever you want though.

As for the departure to the trailhead time. 9am has always been good in the past. I will be packed up and ready to head out by 8am.

Its probably best to do all our own grub this time since none of us have planned for it, and its only 10 days out.

but, Im gonna be packed up and ready to go on that friday. and right when I get off work, matt and I are meeting with keith's brother at In N Out on E. Bidwell street in Folsom. then were departing from there, going up 50, getting gas in pollock pines and then crossing over to 88. Im guessing thats the plan if Snowhite wants to tune in? lol

Thats the plan. What is your route to getting to (in n out) causes I know how you can get there with less traffic.
