SE4RJ Group Leaders
Okay, we've tried this a couple times before but it keeps getting lost in the normal conversation about the trip.
Who are we looking at to take lead position in the groups? List your name here if you can lead and are what level of trail your planning on taking:
1.
2.
3.
4.

I know Chris is leading us up SlickRock on Friday. I plan to Run HeliPad and Guardrail on Saturday or Sunday and will lead a group up there if anyone other than me and Vince want to play

Put us in any group on Saturday...Edit to add, we will run Guardrail and Helipad on Sunday. Put us in a big group too, I want to wheel with as many Yotatechers a possible.

I'll be there all day Saturday, and I don't mind leading - not like it's hard - and I have a winch in case I need to "help" anybody over any tough spots, but I don't know the trails that well. I'll have a map, and Brian (waskillywabbit) will probally be riding shotgun w/ me, so I'm sure we could manage.
I'll be doing moderate stuff. Even though I'll have the front locker in by then, I won't be trying slickrock just because they won't be broken in good and I don't want to put them through too much on the "maiden voyage". This trip will give me a good chance to see what the hard stuff "looks" like so I can decide what to tackle next trip this summer. I will eventually take slickrock, but proball next trip after the gears are "set" and I have new tires...

I can lead what ever (any level)group if needed. I quite familiar with the trail system(even the ATV only trails). I do want to run slick rock with the crew on Friday AM but Saturday is open for anything. I may even tag along with the crew to Helipad and Guardrail on Sunday.

Okay so we have:
1.)Mark( taking moderate to difficult trails)
2.)RT Dawgs( taking easy trails)
3.)Jutty (Taking the difficult trails)
4.)Andy (mostly moderate trails)
I wouldn't mind leading but I'm not all that comfortable with the trail system, I could of course read a map but I still have some things to learn before I feel comfortable taking lead. Is everyone that is listed cool with leading so far?
I want to take as many challeges as I can this time around, so I'll prolly be on with Andy or Mark, last time was just a break in phase, now it's time to earn my keep.

I dont want to commit myself to anything since I cant even commit to the trip yet. I finish up exams on the 10th and start my internship on the 16th. So that gives me only a few days to get moved in, settled and ready to go for Monday morning, I might not have time for a long weekend 4WD trip.

I can lead a group on trails 4,5,6 or 8. Friday I would like to go up 5 on to 4 across Fains Ford and then on to 8 to at least the Slickrock turnoff. I want to see Chris, Jutty and the gang tackle slickrock. I'm sure everyone will want to see that so I imagine everyone that is there by Thursday night will be going the same way on friday.

From: OmG, Hi2U !!! .... DANG, my chic's got some SEXY eyes.... among other things. WOOT WOOT !!
dragr, that sounds like a plan man. I would like to stay on the more timid stuff so I dont destroy my rockers. No sliders yet
I'd would also like to see the slick rock action tho ! Is there an easy way to get to guard rail ?? I'd like to see some action up there as well.

This will be my first time driving Sherpa on Eastern trails, so I don't know the rating system. I can wheel some pretty difficult trails in Colorado, but the wheeling back here is probably quite a bit different, so I don't know how well my experience will translate. I am interested in the moderate trails. I am not running sliders, so I can't take on the big stuff this season. I am hoping we have a decent sized moderate group, and that not everyone tries to tackle the toughest stuff.

By the way, I"ve never even heard of these trails. Is there a map or trail description of these online? I'd like to get an idea of what is available ahead of time so I don't have to guess at the last minute.
Thanks,

Me too Doc! If anyone wants to drive to my house early to help me finish up all my mods, I'll put ya up, pay for your food and beer, etc. I'm never going to make it, unless tonight goes extremely well!
