kansas trails

Hey fellow Kansasanians? I'm new to 4Runners and also new to KC. I am looking for a place to go where I can venture around on some dirt roads just to get a little muddy I think that once I get some off roading in my veins I'll find a way to justify the new suspension and bumpers. Any light trailing places to go in the KC area? I live down in Olathe. Also, are there any 4Runner clubs in KC? Thanks in advance!

4 hours or so from you:
www.sayersbrook.com

we build trails out there almost every weekend, gimme an email if you'd like to come out...you build and you wheel free. If arranged in advance, you could camp too!

Thanks for the reply. I actually just moved here from the Lou back in July. Where at are these trails, I am relatively familiar with St. Louis (just got back from a wedding last weekend)

I second the Tuttle Creek ORV near Randolph, Kansas. Very sweet place for people new to trail riding or those who have built rigs w/ lots of experience. Just make sure to go with another person and you will have a blast!

I'm not quite sure what you mean by "trail build"? I know, newbie question.

Welcome to KC

I haven't been on the board lately, but glad I caught your post. Things have been kindda slow in KC with the Toyota crowd.

I'm about due to head to Manhattan (Tuttle Creek) or Ft. Scott (www.ksrockspark.com) in the next month or so. I'll definitley post something here if and when I do.

Another group to hook up with is the TAC (www.tornadoalleycruisers.com).

You can find their forum over at www.ih8mud.com.
