If you don't plan on running HC, you can meet up at the campsite (which I will post exact directions and locations on this thread Thursday). We will probably be done with HC @ 4-5pm and back into camp @ 6pm.

I'm going to staple some signs to sticks and post em up along 315 and 305 so's people know which way. 315 is a little rough at the start and there is some sand that may make it tough for towed rigs and trailers to get through but you could make it.
I have about 5 glow sticks that I'll be hanging with the signs around 8 pm. on both nights. The signs will be paper plates with CO4RJ on them and arrows indicating direction. I'll also be outlining the camp site with orange tape so it's a little more reserved looking.
I'm in a blue 86 4 Runner with a black top stock height and a little white trailer in tow.
I've got a couple of pallets from work that I'm breaking down and bringing up. Wont be enough wood to last through the night on thursday though. so bring a bundle or two each and we should have a bon fire in no time
I'll also have a chain saw in case.
Well i better get off this internet wave surfing machine and get back to work on some stuff before thursday.

Thanks for the heads up on the 315 road conditions. Would it be easier for tow trucks and trailers to drive 305 to 376 (Lenhardy Cut-off) and then southwest to 315?
Seriously, if anybody needs to call me, please do. I'll have my cell phone. If I don't answer, leave me a voice mail. I plan on driving down to cell coverage to check messages several times Thursday night, Friday after Holy Cross, and Friday night. My # is seven one nine - two five one - 9218.
Work is going to be very hard this week

I will be up in Talyor park and would like to meet up with a few people.
Is anyone going to run Iron chest? I will be closest to that, and i may not get back over Cottonwood pass until Sunday.
So, at least i should be able to run Chinamans with you all if you hit it sunday.
Anyways hope to see you all up that way.

We'll be running Chinamans at 9-9:30am on Sunday. If you are running late, just jump on the trail and catch up with us. We'll have a large group and might be running a little slower.

Aaron,
Thanks for setting up all of this.
I can't wait to get off of work on Friday.
What trails are being run on Saturday?
My 4runner is not capiable of tackling Carnage.
I am interested in running Chinamans or ??

Saturday trails - I know several people want to run Iron Chest / Grizzly Lake but Iron Chest would be tough for you open dif. I know you could make Grizzly Lake (with a tug or winch up one hard section if it's wet).
I would recommend talking with everyone Friday night and rounding some some people to run Wheeler Lake. I really like that trail and will give you a challenge.
I would also recommend Mount Antero, Tin Cup Pass, Boulder Mountain, or Mount Princeton.
You could also run Chinamans but I would recommend finding somebody with a winch to run with just in case (V-notch is ugly this year for lockerless rigs)

Personally, I've found that much more than 4-6 rigs starts to lose it's fun factor. I'd be interested in taking a smaller group on an exploration of all the Antero massif / Baldwin gulch area trails (i.e. Antero, Brown's lake, White Mountain, Baldwin Lake, Boulder Mtn.) It would need to be a smallish group up for a fairly long day, but we would explore all of the trails from the Antero trailhead, along with tagging the top of Antero (weather permitting).
I'd also like to do a similar day of Iron Chest & Grizzly Lake combined. Again, long day, fairly tough, moving quick, exploration. Focus would be on seeing, instead of playing.
Anyone else of a similar mind?

Are you planning on running Holy Cross with everyone? If so, we are meeting at the trailhead of HC at 9-9:30am and will be rolling out at 9:40-9:45 to make sure we are the first rigs on the trail.
If you don't plan on running HC, you can meet up at the campsite (which I will post exact directions and locations on this thread Thursday). We will probably be done with HC @ 4-5pm and back into camp @ 6pm.

Looks like I got forgotten...Well I'm coming anyway! Leaving Friday morningish from the Denver Tech Center area and would be more than happy to join a convoy heading down if there is one?
As for trails, I am willing and wanting to do anything my truck is capable of, now that I have a rear locker.

Anyone want to run Chinaman Gulch on Saturday instead of Sunday??? Maybe like 6-7 of us tops? I will have a SAS'd 4runner on 36" Iroks, and a single cab longbed that is on 37s (or 39s by now) with me. I'll be open diff'd on 35s, but should be fine from what Jason tells me.

I am definately planning on running Holy Cross on Fri and Carnage on Sat. I will have an extra seat if anybody decides they don't want to wheel on Sat and would like to ride along on Carnage, well more like walk along because it goes so slow..
As Aaron has said we are going to get together Fri night and decide who wants to run which trails. If a large # of people want to run the same trail on a given day we can split up the group and stagger the start with the more capable rigs in the front so they don't hold up the second group.
