you arent the only one, i just havent posted. My college graduation is that weekend so its not really worth it for me to drive all the way out there to only be there for a night and half a day. My truck hasnt had enough road time to be proven reliable yet anyway.

 

8 Days

We will be leaving at 3 AM on Thursday morning to get down in time for our 2 pm check in at the Cabins.

So stoked, can hardly sleep anymore. Cool mountain air, pine, peace and quiet. Oh man....

We need to have some sort of rock crawling fun at Crawford's Thursday night to show off our mods to each other.


Oh, does Steve still sell gasoline and LP there?

 

Steve sold gas last time I was there (Fall colors run) it wasnt much more expensive than gas in town.

 

Cool! Thanks Will. Vince has no guage and I like to wheel with less than a 1/2 a tank only. Will definately save a trip further down the road. Steve definately has the setup. Ice too if I remember right.

You could say I "cancelled" in a way since I won't be driving...

 

The gas at Crawfords is the same price as in town. I don't have a gas gauge either right now, so I just fill up and hope I make it through the day!

I bumped the people off who have cancelled and then put some of the people at the bottom in their spots so i wouldn't have to renumber. if you're missing off the bottom of the list, CHECK THE WHOLE LIST before you add your name again...

Also, as a reminder, we're only 10 days from the trip. If you don't have arrangements for sleeping, then you need to either find someone who already has a spot reserved and has room for you or YOU NEED TO CALL CRAWFORD'S AND MAKE A RESERVATION IF THEY HAVE ANY SPOTS LEFT.

My wife is not coming either - I am bringing Leon the wonder dog
this will be his first 4 wheeling / camping trip. He is 7 months old.

Chris - I'll bring the CB to you and help hook it up. Does anybody have a SWR meter ? I really need to tune my antenna - the truck stop wants $20.00 to tune and check. Bring the SWR meter to Tellico - please

Aww Paul that's a shame, it won't be the same without you and Paulina. Hopefully we can arange something in the summer as well. If someone could bring that SWR meter for Doc. I could really use it as well. I still have never tuned or boosted my CB, and I've never used one of the trails before, I'm just hoping for the best.

 

Well I need to find someone that has room at the camp site. If no one has room let me know so I can reserve a spot at crawfords.

 

I need some room as well, I was just banking on there being a spot, supposudly ANdy has one, but Austin was going to reserve it for him. Soooo Austin did you reserve a spot for Andy(ASU Runner) when you got your spot? Or do I need to be calling or asking for an available peice of dirt I can park on.

 

you can park across from the campsites. you may be able to pitch a tent there, but you'll have to check w/ steve about that and how much he'd charge you...

 

Stump & Yotaman and who ever else....I just left a message with steve to reserve a site..so your welcome to pitch a tent on my site..I will only have one tent so there should be plenty of room.

I'll figure something out, hopefully Andy does have a spot, if not I'll camp at the creek on #5 with all the Rednecks and drink beer till I can't stand let alone drive. It seems to work just fine for them.
