Awsome video Austin, as usual. I really love the intro with the freeze framing. If your planning on doing another one for this trip I think we have the chance to top this one. With all the video we're sure to get from this trip. There will be alot more camera's and if everyone can remember just to dump thier footage and pictures onto your computer while we're there you will have it all available to you instead of just yours.

Thanks again for all the work you put into that, and taping it all.

No problem.
It was josh that did most of the filming, and next time I won't have a rig to a. drive and b. break down so there will be a lot more time for me to film and get everything. The problem I was running into about other cameras is that nobody else was using DV. Does anybody else have a MiniDV camera? I'm asking Jutty mainly because he's the only one thats got a camera I haven't seen. If you do, don't worry about tapes and I'll supply the tapes and take them when I'm done. If you want a DVD of all the videos I could do that too.
My laptop took a crap on me so now Ive only got my new beast and I don't know how well a 23" monitor would do in the back of a car. If I can find a way to secure it in the front seat, I might consider bringing it and using it as a home theater in my car. But I doubt that will happen.

Very nice Austin. We all watched it last night at the shop while we were moddin'...definately stoked as hell.

BTW, some mighty sweet rigs in there guys. Can't wait to see them all up close over a cold one.

Thanks for the complements guys!

Greg,
Awesome, I'll bring the tapes! Now we can get inside and outside shots simultaneously and put them together.

Jutty,
Glad I could get you pumped up even more about the trip (like we need that )

Will,
That would be awesome. Does your laptop have a cd burner by chance? We can use that as a drop point for still images, but I'm not going to bother with video. If we have 3 DV cameras that should be plenty of footage.

That was a great video! I can't wait to get a compiled version of this trip, especially with so many people wanting to run the harder trails.

Here's some links to get your tellico fix going good. Most are jeep sites, but there's some good pics of the difficult obsticals like slickrock, helicopter pad, guardrail, rock garden, etc. There's also some links to some short video clips...

Gonna be burning the midnight oil for sure. Just talked to Marlin and my crawlbox and bumper will be here on the 8th. That leaves 4 days to do the crawlbox install, driveshafts. Shouldn't be a problem, but man, talk about cutting it friggin' close! I paid for extra shipping too just to make the deadline.

I had 5-6 guys in front of me waiting and they have one dude that builds the Tcases.

Ugh...At least they are gonna make the deadline. Props to Marlin, especially as busy as they are. Top Notch IMO.

My internal cage is almost done too One or 2 nights of welding and it will be in and done.

Not enuff hours in the day

Hey Austin, I have a digital video camera-Sony Digital 8 or something. Will that work with your stuff? It has a card and mini-tape.

Mike doesnt want to risk breaking up there because his wife is pregnant and due in june. It would be best if he at least has a veh. he can takeout of there quickly if something happens. Its a smart plan, I would do the same for my wife.
