P.S. Have you ever got under your truck on your back and pushed up on your bumper and seen how much it flexes. It's crazy!
I sat under there and had Brandy lower the camper onto the ball and then back up several times. From outside the truck you could see the back of the bumper wings flex about 1/4" to 1/2", but not the front of the wings. Under the truck you could see no visible flex anywhere, thus it has to be the frame flexing. Which seems pretty scary, but at 3700 pounds and a max hitch weight of 400 pounds, I'm well under the Toyota rating of 5000 pounds total and 500 pounds hitch weight. So, maybe Toyota designed it that way? I can't imagine why they would? Hopefully it won't go south on me at 65 mph on the interstate with 19' and 3700 pounds of camper behind me. That would not be good and is what feared me most.

I think you'll be fine. If it's designed to take it, and your less than it allows, you should be fine.

Hey Guys,

Jumping in late here on this thread. But I'm still in, and just booked a cabin at Tellico Cabins for the 12-16th.

Lockem In http://www.tellicocabinrentals.com/t.../LockemInn.htm

I'm going to go back thru and read this entire thread tonight afterwork to get caught up.

Austin, or Andy

If you guys have sites already, is there a spot I can crash, me and a buddy, I still have yet to call Steve and reserve a spot, my life has just been absolutley nuts and the truck and Tellico have been the furthest thing from my mind. More than likely I will be leaving all the females at home, unless I meet some amazing girl in the next month.

Awesome!
Glad you found this jutty!

Guys,
I can't really remember how big the sites are... you can fit 4 tents on a site right? I mean, we will all be together anyway so it shouldn't be an issue but that shouldn't be too cramped right? I can't remember

Yeah, ther is enough room for 4 tents ( of resonable size) to fit. Getting all the rigs in the spot may be a problem, but I;m sure we can find room.

on another note, I finished swapping my old tranny for a rebuilt unit and I was able to rebuild a new tcase with marlins 4.7:1 gears.

Damn son...

Someone has been busy!

Just found out that Brady has a 5 person, so I think we should be good with one tent. You can always park in the middle part. Thats not a problem.
