Hey Steve aka running boards !

The runner is doing great - I just keep modding along !
New engine, custom diamond plate tool box on my rear tire carrier, Bosch
off - road lights on the front bumper, stubbs rock sliders came yesterday
I will have a Detroit EZ locker in the rear before Tellico. I've also removed the cross-over exhaust pipe on the engine and routed the passenger side exhaust down around the transfer case and back to the main pipe. Not sure of this mod yet - seems to run better but it buzzes. I may have to increase
the rest of the exhaust to a 2.25" muffler and pipe. I don't like the sound !

I'm glad that you are coming to Tellico - camping is much better than leaving ! The campground and a few beers around the camp fire is as good as the wheeling. I'll be there Thursday night and staying until Sunday.

Ok, so what time are people getting there on friday? and is everyone wheeling on Sunday, or heading home? just trying to figure out what days to reserve for camping.

I'll be there on Thursday night as will dragr1 and a few others. I plan to be there through Sunday afternoon - I'll play that by ear.
Come on Mike - you know you want to.

I'll be there Thursday night too! We basicall never really wheel that much on Sunday, so it's best if people can show up on Thursday night for a full day of wheeling on Friday on Saturday.

Cool man! I'll definitely be able to do it. I've finally got my Isuzu tank too, so welding is in my near future on that too. I've got to work this Saturday till 1:00pm, and depending on what my plans are with Kristen I can let you know. Do you have some good days for you, and I can see what I have available too?

I want to go on a trip when I get my Runner in working order.I should have a rear drive shaft friday so I can get out of fwd. Some of my new mods include installed my new transmission pan, rear 1st gen roll bar, hurculine. I hurculined the limited flares/cladding, grill, and speaker box and it turned out good.

Good deal Jon, long time no see around here

Is Matt making enough progress with his rig to where he might be able to make Tellico as well? Hope things go good for the both of you and see you there.

Hey man, do you have any pics of your rig without the fender flares on?

Chris it looks like dookie w/o the flares. I'll take them off tomarrow and post a pic.
Scott, I have been busy rigging and test driving new Chaparral boats at my job. It's a ot of work un wraping the boats from the factory and installing everything such as batteries, canvas, speedo pick ups, out drives etc. Here is one of the big girls I get to rig and take for the maden voyage.

350 Signature
$228K
Twin 8.1L Big Blocks

As for Matt, he should have his IFS 1st gen, his solid axle 2nd gen and his FJ trail rated in a month or so he will have plenty of options for tellico.

I'm just curious if you have any pics with them off, because I'm probably going to take mine off, then cut them out depending on how things work out underneath. It's a project for down the road, but I'm curious nevertheless now.

They look good if there was not so many holes for the mounting tabs. It looks like the 4banger ones with no flares at all. The problem you'll have is the pinch weld. I'll have to post a pic tomarrow cause instead of power washing the old 3m tape today I installed my drive shaft instead finaly.
