Doc, I think Brett couldn't make it that weekend, and since I just got my welder, I'm going to spend the nest couple of months making sure I'm completely fabbed up everything for this trip. Mine should look a tad different for this next trip, for sure. I can't wait to get it all done.

Chris

P.S. Doc, do you know anything about wiring up my shed for electrical out there?

You just adding a breaker box - or just wanting to run a 220 wire ?
I would suggest the breaker box and then you can have a few circuits for lights and outlets. Yeah - I know how !!! Can you weld ?

My dad is coming into town this weekend, so I'm hoping to get it all wired up. You ought to stop by sometime over the weekend to check out the new toy.

As far as welding goes, I've been using Paul's welder when it's been convenient for both of us, but it's going to be so much nicer to have my own. I hope to get some welding in this weekend, so the wiring project is first on the list of things to do. Knowing where to start is the problem??

Even if half back out, we will still have at least 8 rigs going.

Thats what separates the web wheelers from the real wheelers.

Of course some peeps had really good excuses.

I'll be there. I'm probably going to take off Friday, leave Thursday after work, and just have a mini vacation. I love camping!

I'm curious what everyone's planning to complete on their rigs before we go. This may not be the best place, but I was just wondering?

I may also come up on Thursday-looks like work will be extremely busy b/n now and then so I'll be looking for a vacation-but I will wait until about a week before to make that call.

Before this trip I will have a new clutch and 4.88's-both are on the way! Maybe a bodylift? I will also be sporting a new camper-although not really for just the offroading trips but I will have it-that is if someone buys mine b/c I don't have room for 2!

Cool, I'll be there to join you if you can do it. Hey, my body lift won't work for you like we talked about, because I've got to use the two rear ones when I move my frame up to realign my rear bumper again. Sorry about that.

I plan to have my rear bumper relocated, my sliders relocated(welding tomorrow possibly), FROR skid plate/crossmember installed, remove my front crossmember, and if I get really lucky I'll have a new gas tank and no rear crossmember either.

Chris

P.S. I'm definitely going to tackle Slickrock with anyone that's game.

long story short... i fubarred my front end tonight... bumper is a loss along w/ the grill, hayden tranny cooler, AC condenser, radiatior, both headlight buckets and the front corners of both fenders. happened on kingston pike. the ford ranger didn't fare so well.

i'm now torn b/w getting another sahara bar and keeping the runner or following my gut and taking it OEM and selling it for a fzj and a commuter.

hmmmmm, and i still have 3 months until we wheel..
