How do I make my park lights double as blinkers?

I'm trying to ditch my stock blinkers when I goto my tube bumper. The guy building it said most customers prefer to put a double element bulb in their park lights and use it for their blinker. What else would I need to do?? Anybody have any ideas on how to wire it that way??

I used the dual filament bulb, has worked fine for ~10 years now.

i did the exact writeup on that ttora link posted above and it works flawlessly. how you mold the new hole/mounting for the bulb socket is up to you but i used some clay-like epoxy and it worked just fine with some blue rtv sealant to form a gasket. its definitely brighter and has a much better side-view angle.

did this on my 4runner, worked great, had no problems at all. It was one of those "I'm bored, what should I do" mods

Completed this mod today. Used the dremel on the housings and picked up some GM 1157 bulb sockets from Autozone. It was simple to wire. Only issue I had was the particular sockets I had just barely fit behind the park lights. I had to adjust my holes and move them over a little bit. My clear lenses are for sale here https://www.yotatech.com/forums/f180/burtman-industries-clear-corners-blinker-lenses-105046/
