Few electrical questions
Hey everyone my first question, 1986 4runner non sr5, looking at the dash left of the speedometer on top of the temp gauge, there is a box. What lights are in there? Other side is your high beam indicator (which mine is super dim even with new bulb, I have LEDs so that might be why?) And 4wd indicator. So what indicators go on the empty box? Never seen one in there. Thanks

That box is for trucks with an Electronically Controlled automatic Transmission (ECT). It is simply an indicator to let the driver know if the transmission is in Normal (NORM) or Power (PWR) mode. When the transmission is in Power mode, the shift points are moved up higher into the RPM range for quicker acceleration and more "sporty" driving.

I got a multimeter, power probe, test light, etc. I got no horn period in the truck like no actual horns or button, but I have turn signals. No hazards

REPEAT: exactly what do you hear, feel when you turn turn signal on that you do not hear/feel when you turn hazards on?
We could be thousands of miles away from you. Pls put us in the cabin so we can help more effectively
Good to have multi-meter.
Check the horn / hazard fuse.
Check voltage as shown. You should have 12V all the way to pin B2 of hazard switch.
