What exhaust do you think is LOUDEST?

Since there are so many choices in exhaust and too many technical differences, i decided to go with whats loudest. Dont ask why. Lets just say that i dont like my nitpickin' neighbor that called the cops for leaving one of my cars parked in front of my house in the same place for "too long"!

Plus i like deep, loud, and heavy sounding exhaust anyway
So...what exhaust system do you think would be loudest for my 3vz motor? Any reasons why?

I think magna is the loudest, but not necessarily the best sounding, a little on the poppy annoying side for me. I like my Flowmaster 50 series a lot, you could probably get a 40-series and have a good and loud truck... or just get cut outs...

sorry, i accidently posted the first thread without a poll so deleted it and pasted your replies here-

Well, I have the 22RE, but maybe the 3.0 will sound better. Mine sounds like a rice burnin honda or something. I've found you gotta have a good sized V6 or a V8, if you want it to sound good. I would recomend Flowmaster, my downey set up definetly sounds like a ricer.

open headers will be your loudest bet...but they're illegal. I have a full NWOR exhaust (headers, crossover, catback) and it sounds pretty good deep and rumbly but I'd probably switch out the muffler for a flowmaster and it would be little louder

Thanks, I plan on getting headers too.
Flowmaster, so far seems to be the best way to go but i've herd Magna exhaust is loud too...hmmm idk

I have a glasspack in mine. In fact, I have a video/audio clip on Corey's exhaust page if you want to hear it. Mine is very loud. But not louder than a straight pipe welded in place of the muffler.

i ran no exhaust for awhile, sounded great but i got complaints from my neighbors 1/4 mile away on the other side of a park near my house in the really urban city (population well over 200k) and i live in a neighborhood of track homes.....

now i have a flowmaster 40..... its loud and sounds good... but my old magnaflow that i sold to grams72 sounded better.....

Sorry I have no foundation to really answer your question other than the fact that I like my Magnaflow.

BUT
I'm feeling your pain! I paid freaking $80 of parking citations because my idiot neighbor decided not to come talk to me about it. Stupid because where I had it parked was a temporary solution.

I have since moved my 1st gen out of the way and now park my Tacoma in the spot out of sheer spite. I would have parked in an out of the way location if he'd simply asked. Now I will continue to park on his side of the street until he does me the simple courtesy of approaching me face to face.

I like my flowmaster 40, but it still sounds like a 4 banger. There isn't any gettin around it, especially in the upper rpms. But my idle sounds cool and lower Rpms are rumblin'

Why don't you just get Bubb Rubb to weld a "wilsull tilp" (whistle tip) on for ya?

I say Magnaflow.

if i wanted loud and cheap i'd go with a cherry bomb, but i hear you have to put a supertrapp disc on the tailpipe to be legal with one in some OHV areas around here(no spark arrestor on a straight thru glasspack)

Flowmaster Road thunders should be the loudest. Then would be the 30 or 40 series that are non-delta flows. Somthing else would would be just a plain old glass pack muffler like the Cherry Bomb
