Stock 2nd gens don't even hit 4000lbs since the 4th gens weigh in at around 4500lbs curb weight. I weighed my 3rd on a professional scale and it was just over 4100lbs with a 3/4 full tank of gas.

FJ Cruiser 4WD model stock weighs
Curb Weight (lbs): 4295
With beefier tires, winch, ARB bumper, and misc. safety equipment on board, I would say add about 500 lbs, so my rig probably weighs in at 4800 lbs or so.

2210 kg. So...I can't do the math. More than I thought it would. And am I the only one didn't know that they don't turn off the scale at weigh scales at night?

2000 v6 ext 4x4

Full tank of gas and in urban empty mode (means normal compliment of tools and odds and ends but no crazy gear).

4000lbs exactly

The 4th gens weigh close to 4500 lbs, a stock 2nd gen V6 auto is over 4100 lbs and a 3rd gen V6 auto is around 3850 lbs.

94 x-cab was 4100 according to shipping company. I shipped it with a camper shell loaded with things though.
87 4runner is ~3500, give or take since its sfa/running 35x15.5s/interior is gutted

How does the 2nd gen weigh more than 3rd or did you get them reversed. All the specs on Toyota sites list the 3rd gen at just over 4000lbs.

I was guessing around 4000lbs for my 3rd gen but I have never weighed it.

I have a 1998 4Runner brochure in front of me right now. The heaviest model, a 4WD Limited Auto weighs 3,940. My 2000 4WD 5-speed weighs 3,883 lbs.

My brochure for a 1994 4Runner V6 Auto weighs shows 4,100 lbs.

It's also true that a 1994 Xtra Cab truck weighs 200-300 lbs more than an equivalent Tacoma.

Check in your phone book for "public scale" or try your local recycling place as other options. I weighed mine at a public scale, cost about $8 to get both axle weights.
