Just pull the bearing out of the old pulley and replace it. That is a servicable pulley.

88 toyota 4runner idle air control valve issues, more in cold weather than summer, but have cold start issues for more than 5 years...I think that valve is not working properly because even though I checked it, it seems to be working but the truck does not want to start unless I put starting fluid in the intake. I have to keep pressing the gas otherwise it will stall. Once it warms up, has a very low idle until I adjust the screw on the throttle body every time I use the truck. After that has an even idle. Turn it off and then right back on, idle is odd or low idle again, I have to keep pressing the gas until it stays with normal idle. I do not know what yo do. Perhaps, I am thinking that the IAC VALVE is good, but it is not good, let me know if you have any tips or suggestions...thank you. Happy New Year!

Pretty much any parts store will carry the Chinese bearings, but if you want good quality Japanese bearings I think you will have to go to a Toyota dealership.

I got German bearings at NAPA(the idler pulley bearing)... BUT, that was 2 years ago. .. even Altrom are now made in China, many of their parts.

If rust is something wrong, then mine is no longer working! But seriously, lazy seat belt retractors (like every other toyota ever made), horn doesn't work, it misses at idle when its warmed up, idle is different depending on the temperature and humidity, The dome light doesn't come on, and when it does its not even as bright as a lighter. Actually I think thats about it, but I love my quirky yota.

Still have the leaking oil filter housing on the side of the 3RZ, the crank pulley/balancer worked loose(but I removed the bolt and realigned the pulley and Loctited the sucker), now the front crank seal is leaking, and I found that an exhaust manifold to head stud is gone.... Picked up some new ones at Toyota today.

I feel exceptionally lucky after reading previous posts.

Key will not roll back window up

Rear anti brake light is on

Washer fluid doesn't make it to the rear

Steering box leaks like no other

Rear windows take about 4 min to roll down and up.
