I blew my head gasket on #1 cly. On October 28 back on the. Drive way Friday morning. An started blowing heavy white smoke, I was like soon of a gun of a gun, and drove to work anyways, and when it came to leave work I pulled the radiator cap and was like yep? Head gasket, filled up the radiator and drove back home cleared out the garage and cleared it out! Drive the battle civic over to advanced auto picked up head gasket kit new head bolts oil oil filter coolant rtv loctite and went to town after leaving the truck set in weighting in the garage for about 5 days until I felt like messing with it, Removed everything cleaned everything up and replaced everything in about one Friday after work, and just let the draining of oil left for Saturday along with putting in the valve cover and popping in the dizzy and setting the timing, found out my oil pump works great when I tried cranking it over without the valve cover, slung oil all over my 2003 hd fxst, truck started on first try! I hurried up and shut it off and went into hazmat clean up, once I cleared up most of the oil I installed everything else and backed her out the garage if it's was coming off the assy line from Toyota in Japan 1990. I didn't even have 300 bucks wrapped up into the entire project....

And it seems to be eating fuel. Especially when driving.
No seriously, lots of little things.
But I couldn't complain if I tried. If It was a ford i'd be dead by now.

The ghetto exhaut on my T only has one rubber isolator holding it up. It is short and dumps right after the axle. Any time you lug the motor the thing wangs up and down GRGRGR. The muffler is a large one and I'm not sure why it hasn't broken the rubber thing yet. The stock one has 3 or 5 isolators holding it up?

Old Betty (1991 2 door 4Runner) needed a lot of help when I first got her. She was a free truck so I took on the challenge. My wife and I spent about $5000 on bodywork - she (the truck, not my wife) was in rough shape with rust holes on every panel and quite a few dents and dings. The guy we took it to used a thicker guage zinc coated steel and epoxied in a few drain holes after we told him what we planned for this truck.
When changing the sparkplugs I noticed one was cross threaded (fantastic) had a buddy come over and tap it out good as new now.
Currently there is a power steering leak, a tick in the motor, a starting problem when it's cold out (cranks over but fuel pump won't kick in - will start if we jump the pump) it makes a noise when driving that gets louder the faster you go (diffs I think) the windsheild washer resevior is leaking, the driver side door needs new hinges - we have to get in the passenger door and pretzel ourselves in the driver seat, occasionally does not want to shift into 1st and the rear window doesn't co operat in the cold.

We love this truck though and have already spent more than its worth to bring it back - this ones a keeper for sure

Not exactly sure at the moment. In the process of diagnosing it. I pulled out of a field and hit the pavement a little faster than I wanted to and it instantly died. Its a fuel issue... I know that much.

It had a full sized ford utility bed on it with stock springs and perches. The dude I bought it from was a drunk, so I think he was just romping on it with all of that weight, and a load of tools. The bed was so heavy, it had the rear springs bowing backwards.
