just stick to the stock exit... theres nothing wrong with it. I, honestly think it sounds the best there... nice tone to it.

anybody get rid of their 3vz crossover...or well not get rid of it..but re-route it..

the 3vz headgasket problem is supposedly caused by the crossover being so close to the #6 cylinder..(and it being so thin at that point).

well instead of going over the tranny..why not go under it??? i have a 4in lift..and dont do anything where something would damage it..anybody else got any ideas??

I took some lousy pics (it was raining) to try and illustrate my problem with the O2 sensor:




The wire for the O2 runs at a 90-degree angle to the pipe, and enters the body under the doorframe, and there's not enough slack in the wire to move the O2 8" forward. So, unless someone has a better idea, I'll need to splice in more wire.

My truck does have aluminums rims, but they're not shiny and not super clean, so I'm not worried to much about them getting dirty. I realize the rear exit is probably more practical, but, call me weird (which I am), I just really want side exhaust! Aside from that, I don't really want to pay for all the bends to snake the pipe over the rear axle, but mainly, I just want it out the side.

yeup.... looks like you're gonna need some more wire. but hey... got for it. i'll take a picture of my o2 in the morning and show you what mine is like. to get all my piping done it was 200 dollars... and he welded the cross over pipes together, weld the cat, and muffler in and weld up new brackets/flanges, new gaskets, and all the piping to the back.. i'd say it was a good deal
