Is this a production FJ

While I was on my delivery route driving down Hwy 99 through Edmonds I saw this at www.magictoyota.com is it a production or a dealer one off

As I was at work I didnt have time to stop and look, not to mention no place to park a big cube truck

No, that is not a factory convertible top. Somebody paid ALOT of money to have that done. I think that with all of the convertible FJ's popping up everywhere, Toyota would be smart to capitalize on the idea. Hey, FJ sales couldn't get any worse thats for sure.

Any worse? I don't think Toyota sales of the FJ are bad to begin with, they have a hit.

Hmmm this may warrent further investigation, now if I can remember where I misplaced that extra 40 grand, oh thats right I was just dreaming.

Also as I am thinking back the one that I drove by was silver at that lot.

Oh the things that Toyota would do if this group were in charge

It's a cool idea, but I'm still not convinced that I'd like to drive an FJ.....

I read somewhere that since Toyota is the featured manufacturer at this years SEMA show they may introduce a convertable FJ.

I agree. The removable hard top would be pretty sweet. When I saw these pics, I pictured a soccer mom or a 17 year old girl driving it. Don't like it at all.
