A buddy of mine put razors in the back bracket of his deck and somewhere under his seat for his amp.... Did the trick but he had blood stains left in the car. oh well I guess you try different things when you have been robbed so many times...He has a massive rotti now that goes wherever he goes in the truck

 

How bout adding tear gas canisters wired into the alarm or on a seperate one. Set it up so that one alarm goes off first and kills the starter and fuel pump. Then if they get inside and the alarm isnt shut off after a predetermined delay time. Tear gas fills the inside and around the truck.

 

they actually make a system that electrifies certain panels of the car when it is activated, it shocks pretty good as far as i read, i think it is illegal in the states though, or rather not for sale in the states. i dont remmeber where i read it though.

 

You could take your driveshafts off when you leave the truck, take some fuses with you when you leave it, have one of those disconnecting steering wheels, or just figure out a way to attach/detach your shifter(s) easily, but still be able to functionally park and get moving again. I only read the 1st page of this thread, but yeah if someone wants to get in, they will try and you will know.

Lo-Jack has an early warning system that I got installed a year ago. It requires you to have this 1 1/2" square plastic keychain thing in the vehicle to disable it. Basically, if someone WITHOUT the special keychain moves your truck it will automatically alert you no matter where you are. Great security for when I was on cruise for 6 months and would always know if my truck was moved/stolen. Only thing is, you have to tell the police it's been stolen. When you register, you can add your parents email/phone numbers and your email/phone numbers. Here's the link:

Edit: Even though LoJack says that the battery in the device is good for life, I was told to have LoJack replace it every 3 years. The keychain takes a standard watch battery that lasts for about a year.
