my pickup sat over winter and summer, and last week my inner hub seal went out and i spun a wheel bearing. I have the straight axle 4:10. I just replaced the seal and bearings, and i'm wondering how much fluid to put in the fill hole?
I have a manual but its not worth anything. thanks

Fill the front diff until fluid comes out the hole.

Thats what I thought at first too, but when my wheel bearing went it leaked all the fluid out, and i drained the rest. When i pulled that front diff bolt out it was still full, so i looked on the the backside of the brake rotor and there was a fill hole that went down to the axle shaft. I guess my question is do i fill that because that diff is full?

You can pump a little grease into the hole in the steering knuckle if you want. But it sounds like you had an inner axle seal leak that let gear oil from the diff leak out into the knuckle. There, the oil mixed with the grease and thinned it to the point it "leaked" out when you did the wheel bearing. The grease should not run out if it is not contaminated with oil (or water).

Best option would be to replace the inner axle seals and clean/regrease the birfields and wheel bearings and then refill the diff with clean gear oil:
