looks like the toyota elocker, but unlike that ebay listing says it just doesn't slap into a non e-locker equipped truck. Modifications have to be made to the housing. And a 95 4runner IIRC didn't come factory with one of these. .

On a side note, I don't think this ebay knucklehead knows anything about this as if one were to have the elocker in their truck they would know if it's the elocker or not as they would have have to use a switch to activate the locker as it's not an automatic locker.

That is NOT an elocker. It is a V6 carrier. If theres a lunchbox locker in there, that's not a factory option.......

That is just a V6 carrier. Do not waste your money on this.

thank for the input

I have been lurking and looking for a locker/lsd for a while. My sole purpose is for winter driving in the mountains . First off I have purchased a set of 16 inchtundra rims and fitted them with studded Cooper Disocoverers 235-70-16 ( hard size to find in So Cal. My next step is an Auburn Pro LSD found at overstock differentials for a decent price . Finally what the wife allows an ARB air locker for the front.
I hope never to put chains again.
