What is this damage from?

I have seen this before but today with most everything off the front(Grill and lights etc.) It made it more noticeable

Im not sure what it is so you experts if you would chime in please, and if you guys could tell me where I could buy it and how to replace it. I dont have my valence on anymore so its really noticeable sorry for the poor quality as it was taken with my phone.

TIA
Julian

Your truck has been wrecked, or at least banged into something. That is your radiator support.

Looks like it might have been an encounter with some form of wildlife.

Haha, it may be totaled but ill still drive it! That d*mn thing wont stop me! I was just wondering what it was and if I should fix it as I have noticed it tweaked my grill and everything! I think my bumper on the driver side sits back about an inch farther!

Personally, i wouldnt even worry about it, all it does is support your radiator mounts and i'm sure it's still doing it's job just fine.
But if it helps you sleep at night, you better replace it

Its held in place with alot of spot welds, you would need to drill out all of the spot welds to remove the original core support, and then fit the new one in place and weld it back in.

Yeah, I was going to do that until i heard that its not that big of a deal! I just wanted my radiator back to the right position, when it happened it pushed my radiator in a bit but it doesnt matter!

easier than using a drill to remove you can use a grinder from the other side and grind through till the spot welds are ground. and this will be the prep for the new tack welds.. remove radiator and flush coolant if it hasn't been done in a while at the same time. remember no green anti freeze.

Or like every body said hide and don"t worry about it. big bumper to hide it will also help next time you hit some thing or need to step on it!!

Yeah, I think I will just hide it behind a bumper. Do you guys know any good sites to buy one? I wanna see different kinds of bumpers so i can fab my own! I can sorta see what I want mine to look like but not exactly sure how I want it, ya know?

as long as it isnt hurting anything i wouldnt worry about it too much.

you should look into a u-pull it if you have one where your at or a junk yard. no use ini buying a new one if theres a good one sittin around in a yard goin to waste.
