Vibration issues

Check all the parts of the shaft and the t-case and pinion flanges for play. Also check the phasing of the u-joints:

And if that is all OK, try some of the tips listed below:

did you check the oil in the rear diff? check for metal shavings. also, get a friend , put the truck up on jack stands, and have your friend get it up to the vibrating speed, and it sounds bad enough that you should be able to see something wobbling. id try that. it sounds like something with your drivetrain, not your engine, since it doesnt vibrate in place. just be careful, and USE JACK STANDS DO NOT RELY ON A JACK. JACKSTANDS ALL AROUND! BE CAREFUL! these trucks seem to like to hurt us.

maybe, but check anyway. doesnt hurt. also lift it up on jackstands and have someone drive it up to the speed where it vibrates, and keep it there and look for a wobble. maybe you will see it, maybe not. just for godsakes be careful.

im here in atlanta too. What do your tires look like maybe you need to rotate, may not hurt to rebalance. If your starting to cup or havent rotated them that can cause some issues. Atlanta traffic kicks ass

well i guess you found it. I wouldn't have even thought to check there because i swaped out for some manual hubs so my cv joints don't move when unlocked. Get those fixed, take it for a test drive and see if its gone!
