22re is a better engine!!
and way relible... i would keep it..
if you end up with a v6 then swap but its cost money..
22re can hold its own and the 3rz is nice bu tthe money could be used on other stuff,,,

i would dd or trail rig a 22re anyday.. my favorite engine good for 300-400 thousand kms easy if build and maintained proper

v6 3.0 is harder to work on and has head gasket issues...as ISNT a 22re

x2 especially in bold. I hate working on my 3.0L. When this one dies I'm going to a 22RE

Dude.. ...

I think you would be told 22re by almost every person on here.
its got much less miles than the 3.0...

I bought my 3.0 with 240,000 and it just kinda went out. 258,000. but never opened up before for any internal work.

IM about to venture on a 3.4 swap, and i think that would be a great choice.
But the 22re/3rz are supposed to be great as well..

I don't think you could go wrong either way.
