first off, what kind of price range are you looking at? i'm a college student so this summer when i get the money, i'm going aussie.
if you have the money, get whatever you want ARB and such. but on the most limited budget, get the aussie.
unless you want a selectable, and i've heard nothing but good things from the e-locker. (i've actually heard more complaints on an ARB than and e-locker)
but dont' forget to also take into consideration the boat formula. "your boat+whatever floats it = happy customer".

I recommend you put in a Lockrite because in your front axle, it will sit most of the time when you're putting around in 2wd. When you go 4wheeling, the lockrite will give you all the traction you need.
The 4cyl lockrites sell for about $250. It's cheap to buy, just that the installation requires a bit of know-how, and a lot of elbow grease.
If you have a dial indicator and know how to use it, read up on zuk's site on how to set up gears. Then tackle the job yourself. gearinstalls.com
fwiw, I have a lockrite in the nose of my 84, and an open rear diff right now. The elocker is going into the rear as soon as I've got my gearing sorted out.

I plan on rocking the Aussie in the front. I even have a lockrite also. The ez locker, locrite, and Aussie were designed by the same guy. The Aussie is the last addition and benefits from different processes can't quote them but you can search them out if curious. The Aussie is suppose to have the lowest threshold to unlock the locker and the smoothest operation, this is why I've desided to put it in the front. An ARB is going in the rear and the locrite will be a backup.
I currently have an ez locker in my front IFS and a locrite in the rear of my rig.
