FJ 80 parts, what can I use??

Help. I have a 92 SR5 w/ 3.0 -- I found a wrecked 94 Cruiser and am in the process of buying the rear springs. What I'm curious about is weather I can use the LSD also, or rear axle? Or mabye one from a Taco? I can only take open diffs and 31's for so long!!! Thanks in advance.

The axles are wider. The rear has an offset diff. The rear third is bigger, but the front would work (although, it's probably a high pinion and will be weaker in a rear application)
Tie rods, rod ends, etc can be made to work and are a significant strength upgrade.

ALL SAS's are custom jobs.
The LC axle is a great width, and if you could find a HP elocked one, you would be all ready to go, but the steering setup needs a lot of modification to work in a SAS application, and high steer is serious money, so most people shy away from them in favor of the minitruck axles.

Is the front axle on the correct side, I mean the pumpkin?
I just came upon a landcruiser myself and I might try to grab the axles out of it too?
Hmm, trying to get rear springs and rims off of it later today

Steering is hard with leaf springs on those axles, even with high steer, a bent drag link is usually required. There are a few who've made it work, much easier to link it.
