What's wrong with yours? Or do you not have one? If you still do then all you have to do is take it to any shop that works on drive shafts or u joints and get it fixed if you cannot find a replacement. That's what I did on my 82. It had a crap repair job done on it and I also could not find a replacement so they just fixed the one I had and they balanced it too.

If it is beyond repair Having a new one made is not really that expensive.

I rebuild these trucks so I have needed to have several made with grease fittings on the ujoints.

since you are in PDX: Give Brian a call at http://www.drivelinetech.com/home.php

Light truck parts on Foster usually has a stack of front drive shafts $75:

just be aware that later model trucks 86+ the drive shaft will be about 4" long and will require that you clearance the CV.

or check the stickies and you might have found this:

80 to 83 will only fit assuming u r using a tranny from 80-83. 84+ have longer trannys and therefor the driveline from these later ones will not fit, they will be too long.

yes, i understand you are talking about the front and nope unless it is lifted like 6+ inches you cant fit a newer one under there at least i would say not. you could bolt one up and see if it would, but i would not hold my breath. before i did my tranny swap and duals i tried a driveline out of an 85 and it was too long. i have a 3" lift.
goodluck
