1990 4runner questions

I have a 1990 4runner and my friend gave me his whole front end off of his 86 4runner. The front end has a 4 inch lift and I was wondering if it would work on my 1990? If it is compatible what could I use in the rear?

yep, should be no problem.

you can order some 4" coils from alot of places, pro comp, trailmaster, OME i believe as well.

Or you can use FJ80 coils in the rear, those will give around 4" of lift, if you need more add like a 1" spacer

Thanks for the quick reply.

Would I be able to only put four inch lift coils on the rear or do I need other things as well?

you'll need longer shocks and possibly extended brake lines..

1990 4runner rear lift

Does anybody know where I could get a rear 4inch lift for a 1990 4runner that comes with all the brackets needed?

tightening front wheel bearing

I took my 1990 4 runner in to get aligned and the mechanic said that I need to tighten my wheel bearings. Can some tell me how to do this because if I let the mechanic do it he will charge me $300. THANKS!
