Not knowing where you live but your local autoparts should be able to help.

You can ask on here if some one has a set of the newer style wiper arms j hook for sale or go yarding your self.

Me I still use the old style arms that the wiper blades attach with the screws.

I have no problems getting blades.

Most replacement blades come with the plastic piece so you can either use the j hook style or use the adapter to pop them onto the wiper arm pin

I don't know, maybe because you're buying cut to length..? I know at Canadian Tire, the brands they carry has that adapter, and the have little packages that have just the adapters as well.

Be nice to know where you are and who you buy parts from.

Other wise part numbers don`t help much.

If your really stuck I could get you some.

Napa here in Canada sells those kind of wiper blades...
sounds like the OP has been buying replacement rubber to use in his old "frames"
not entire replacement blade assemblies...

Go to eBay.com

Type this number in the search menu 151024077784

There's a set of wiper arms that have the J hook on them. Note that 84-95 are interchangeable.

My 84 had them and both my 87 and 93 have them. Now I did have a 88 that didn't have them so I dunno exactly how that works

J hook is/was the standard wiper arm for toyota trucks anyway... it is possible that a previous owner of your truck put different arms on it.
as for a junk yard source... you will most likely come across 90+ 2gen runners go ahead and grab any of them they are the same as are used on the trucks.
95+ Tacomas (the smaller ones not the current type) also use the same arms.
