I dont know if anyone can help me here but I am looking for fenders for my 93 4runner and somebody said they have p/u fenders and i was wondering if they are the same. Thanks in advance

 

They are not the same. The head lights and grill and are different configurations.

That being said, almost anything is possible. I have seen here on yotatech where someone fitted the 2nd gen 4runner grill and headlights on a pickup, but it required significant cutting and welding to make it work.

 

see i am getting very mixed reviews on this. Some say they're the same some say like you say they are not.

 

they will fit if they are both 2wd or both 4wd. the only difference is the 2wd ones have the corner light upsode down but if its the same type they will swap. however doors will not unless its a 2door runner if you were curious

 

they will fit if it 4wd like yours. the grill and lights will not matter because the corrner lights are the same. and make sure you get 4wd if yours is 4wd the 2wd ones have the corner lights upside down

 

I think you are right Blake. I thought the corner lights were different also, but must be mistaken.

I looked up the part numbers for the left & right fenders on toyotapartszone.com on both the '93 4wd 4runner and '93 4wd pickup and they were the same.

Right fender: part #53801 (**811-89208) $173.18
Left fender: part #53802 (**812-89199) $173.18

 

Toyota pick ups and 4Runners can swap anything/everything. the only thing that changes is whats behind the front seats, and a few minor front ends. so yes, the front fenders will work.

 

cant swap doors unless its a 2door then you can hood too, grille and lights require transplanting a core support
