Where can I get a Wideband o2 sensor for my 90 3vze? Do I need to do any mods to my truck to make it work with my fuel air ratio gauge?

Why do you want a AF meter? Wide bands have an extra sensor. Narrow bands just splice into the o2 wire by the ecu.

Hot wire
Ground
Light bulb wire
O2 wire

"The analog output connector of the LM-1 can simulate the operation of a narrow band sensor while the wide-band oxygen sensor is installed in place of the OEM narrow-band sensor. Factory equipped Analog output 1 of the LM-1 is programmed to simulate a narrow band sensor. Some vehicles are equipped with oxygen sensors that do not produce an output voltage but change their resistance depending on exhaust gas content. These sensors cannot be simulated. They are used in less than 1% of all vehicles. Refer to your vehicles specifications if you think that your vehicle may be in this category. The same is true for vehicles already factory equipped with a wide-band oxygen sensor. These cannot be simulated either. Some EFI-computers will create a fault when the heater power wires of the oxygen sensor are disconnected. In this case mount the old oxygen sensor in a safe place (but not necessarily in the exhaust) and connect the heater wires to it to keep the EFI-computer happy.
Be careful where you mount the stock sensor, as heated sensors will get hot."

I've only seen em of boosted Hondas for watching Afr while tuning.

Never seen a use for them outside of tuning purposes.

I have a fuel air ratio gauge now but its hard to read without a wideband sensor cuz it jumps back and forth.

Lol. That's all its gonna do.

You can not read a wide band sensor with a narrow band.

All a wide band will do is see how your running. Either lean or rich. It just tells you the specific ratio as opposed to the light show you get from the narrow band.

the guy who started this thread used a wideband and a few other things. I have heardof people using the widebands from ebay for about 150 bucks.

wideband o2 is on my to do list as well. especially since Im fairly modified in the engine bay

If your highly modified, then its justified. If stock, its worthless.

And a good wideband will run you 150-250.

I'd go AEM. I've heard bad things about the innovative. Only from Honda people, but still.

Ok..I take it back. The innovative is good,as is the aem. The aem just comes with an extra something or another. Innovative is cheaper also.

Ive only seen a wide ban ran on a boosted motor or a heavily built motor. Nothing stock. I threw a narrow band on my stock civic just for ˟˟˟˟s and giggles and I got it for free. Lol.

yes I know that. Since I have a modified afm and bigger intake pipe, I would like all the info I can get. some days I wonder if Im too rich or too lean since I have messed with the afm fuel wheel and the air bypass screw on the afm as well. not to mention the larger intake pipe. SO I would like to be able to look at a reading of my air fuel mix instead of just guessing

Hat do you mean by bigger intake? Bigger then 3"id?

Edit: to rich, black smoke and smells like fuel. To lean, you get pinging.

yes I opened the inside of an AFM from a supra and turned the fuel wheel rich. then I adjusted the air bypass screw on the afm (after I drilled it out) to get the truck to run right. read the link I posted above and read my build thread in my signature if you want more info on some of my modifications. BTW they are definitely worth doing!!! its a different truck
