There are about 3 different numbers that will fit....the best one, I am pretty sure, is not made anymore.

Well, I'm shooting for the million mile mark. So, I'll just stick with my Charmin.....it's squeezably soft.

Seriouly, though, I've just heard and read about enough issues with Fram (and others companies) that I just choose others.....and there are plenty to choose from. Here's some interesting reading:

Does Kirkland Signature (AKA the Costco brand) make oil filters?

If so, I'm gonna buy a 30 pack just to play it safe......

I have run fram, toyota and Purolator Premium Plus (what is currently on the truck). They all seem to work fine. I might stick with the Purolator for now, my mech says thats the only filter he uses in all the oil changes he does.

OP. Because they are the big dog. Everyone else wants to be the big dog. They will do and say anything to get on the porch. I have over 2 million miles on frams. I have never rebuilt a motor before trading or selling the vehicle. I have never traded or sold an vehicle wth less than 100k on the clock. Most over 200k. That said, I have started to use Bosch lately. Why? Cuz of the damn internet!

US Government releases declassified material at DC Library

A friend of mine has an aunt whose cousin's daughter is an E.R. nurse at Cedars Sinai Hospital in Los Angeles. One day about ten years ago Richard Gere was brought in for an emergency and this nurse that I speak of was working that day. I forget what the emergency was, he lost something somewhere... but that's not the point. Richard Gere mentioned that he was getting ready to do a movie, in which he played "whistle blower" employee who was killed at the Fram Company.
The Fram Company had developed a new silicon based compound for filter elements that was going to revolutionize the filter industry. They had produced hundreds of thousands of these new filters with the silicon elements, but they were in such a hurry to get them to store shelves, they had not done any research and development. It turned out, that when the silicon elements come into contact with petroleum based products, the elements turn to sand, and will destroy your engine after about 500,000 miles.
Every employee at the Fram Company agreed to never let this secret out, except for one employee, who refused to sign the non-disclosure agreement. This employee was killed a few days later when a pallet of oil filters "accidentally" fell on the guy at the factory.
Now all of this would have made the news, but it has been kept quiet due to Big Oil Companies, the Automotive Industry, Intel (it gave silicon a bad rep), Plastic Surgeon's Association, Rupert Murdoch, and George W Bush. Big brother also was able to stop production of the movie. And to this day, Fram has continued to produce these dissolving elements in secret, because the "mass public is too stupid to notice anyway".

By the way, I use Fram. And like the mass public, I have never had any problems.
Well george W Bush was great on helping other movie like transformer.

Not my post but maybe interest for you.. Since you don't want to use your real nick.

After almost six decades of researching how the public would react to the news about our visitors from another Star System, the US Government has officially released some documents relating to the matter at hand. Despite the coordinated sightings worldwide, most nations remain hostile as many have tried to engage them in combat. However, Sector 7 continues to help produce Hollywood hits such as E.T. (1982), Independence Day (1996), and most recently, Transformers (2007) to test public reaction and thoughts on the matter. Unfortunately the film Mission to Mars (2000) although most accurate in informing the public with who our visitors are was ignored by many. It seems the actual truth cloaked in comedy has proved to be most effective so far, as our visitors would not wish to land without ensuring the people of this world can achieve peace on their own but revealing their presence and identity will help us reach this goal, which is why the last chapter of the Bible was named the Revelation.

The Code of Heaven is 7, The White House, the United States presidential residence at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue, Washington DC. 1600 = 1 + 6 + 0 + 0 = 7. The truth to why the white house is white is simply because white is the color of light that has no other colors whereas its polar opposite black is all colors combined.

The photographer of this photo thought it was rather strange to see a triangular shadow as he submitted this photo to the US Military for review. It is the best image yet we have on our visitor's Starship, although cloaked, the sunlight makes its shape and presence obvious, maybe it's time we tell our friends to develop technology to avoid being seen on such days? But then again who are we to advise them, we can't even get to Mars yet. This picture was taken near the Bermuda Triangle, date is still classified. Declassified however is that the Bermuda Triangle isn't exactly a triangle zone many documentaries have shown it to be but rather the code name used for the Starship located near Bermuda (in case you didn't notice based on its triangular shadow, the Starship is a pyramid, also known as the strongest shape in engineering, being able to withstand incredible g forces). The US Government first started studying the Bermuda Triangle after five of their TBM torpedo bombers on a routine training mission went down, they later discovered the planes flew too close to the Starship triggering its electromagneti c c pulse (EMP) defensive barrier.

eeh that's not a valid statement. We DO have the best, cleanest, most wholesome food on the planet, bar none.

Our society is fat and unhealthy because it's LAZY, because the people in our society do not eat properly, and tend to binge on junkfoods or foods high in fats...

And kids spending hours in front of a stupid game consol is NOT helping them loose the 50 odd lbs most of them are overweight by...

However I will NEVER use a fram pos on any of my vehicles....
