A few more to look at.

 

That bed made my jaw drop. I like everything about it. Especially the way you have the whole cab protected with plate in front of the bed. It looks like you put a lot of thought into that whole project.

 

I have some pesimistic(sp?) friends. The whole time they were watching me do this, they thought I was doing it the hard way. I am glad I kept to the original idea because it paid off and I am super happy with it. The whole bed works awesome for everyday use and holds up great to offroading abuse. Also, I wanted a tailgate that pinned on both sides and cable pulled with the license plate frame AND was removable. In the end, it all worked out.

The moral of the story is "don't listen to your friends", especially if they are holding a beer.
